08/10/22

Score: 31 – 12
Another tough day for the boys in blue & white today.
A large crowd enjoyed the sunshine on an excellently prepared Berry Hill RFC pitch – some excellent rugby ensued real end to end stuff tries for WoS from Harry Johnson, skipper Robbie Pritchard – half time the scores were fairly honours even at 19-12.
The second half saw the Berry Hill RFC United flying No 6 putting WOS to the sword with a brace of breakaway tries …a couple of them against the run of play – end result saw WOS going down 31-12.
A day when rugby was the winner. A special mention for WoS spectators MOtM Alex Pearce – Some excellent performances from the WoS ranks …of note Scrum half Ben Stephens who teamed up excellently with fly half Rychknyx McKenzie onto next week that sees us back at home V Gloucester Old boys 2’s.
Lets hope the sun is shining next Sat at the Ken Boulton stadium of light
